Busy Weekend...

Thursday a lovely party in McLean, Soft Shell Crabs with sauteed vegetables and a quinoa salad with almonds and craisins.
Friday, Grilled Rib Eye with a Lavender scented potato and vegetables
Saturday, an elegant event with apps of Seared Sea Scallops on Polenta Cakes, Assorted Deviled Eggs and Smoked Salmon on Crostini, followed by a salad which featured Figs and Chevre.  Our main course was a Truffle Honey brushed Sea Bass over Purple Rice with Asparagus.  A light dessert was a Chocolate Truffle cake with Cinnamon Whipped Cream and berries.
Sunday was light, a small party on a boat on the Potomac, restaurant meals delivered to Woodley Part and then another event in McLean.
